Cruise Excursions

J and I have recently started thinking of what kind of excursions we're going to do on our cruise.  Last cruise we took, we went off on our own.  It was fun, but this time, we'd like to have even more fun and make sure we make the best of everything.

First stop...Cozumel

Cozumel is a gorgeous area, so I want to do some site seeing as well as take an excursion.  So we're going to do a shorter excursion in this area so we have some time to go shopping.

We decided on the 3 Reef Snorkel by Boat which is $55 per person for 3.5 hours.  I've never been snorkeling, so I knew that was one thing that I definitely wanted to do on this cruise.  I'm very excited!

Second stop...Isla Roatan

Roatan is a very poor area and have had a lot of civil uprest going on lately.  So it's not an area where you want to venture off on your own.  Carnival recently built their own port there that has a private beach, so we're just going to save some money and do a beach day.

Third stop is...Belize

One of the most popular excursions in Belize is cave tubing.  Carnival had gotten rid of it for a while because someone died during the excursion, but they've now brought it back and I can't wait to try it out.

Last stop is...Costa Maya

Costa Maya is known for it's Mayan ruins, so we knew we had to go check them out.  So we're getting on a bus for an hour each way to go tour the ruins.  I think this will be a fun and interesting excursions.  I'm not such a fan of riding that far to do it though.

So, we have to relaxing excursions and two adventurous excursions.  I'm very excited and think we're going to have a blast doing these.
